Where To Find The TPMS Sensor ID Number?

I bought some new wheels & tires with sensors in them, but they did not provide me with the sensor id numbers. Can I deflate the tire to get to the id number?

Usually, it is written on the sensors, but you could also use a TPMS scan tool to get the serial number.

There is a lot of information printed on OEM sensors. some tips:
you are most likely looking for a number between 7 and 10 digits. this number will either only contain numeric digits (0-9) or contain alphanumeric 0-9 A-F. if the number has something higher than F it is not the id.

the FCC-ID is also not the id. most likely anything with a dash or other character isn't the id either. A lot of schrader sensors from older vehicles printed the ids on a label and it was fixed on the bottom of the sensor (where the potting is)

    hope this helps.
