Is TPMS Covered By The Warranty?

Read that a fellow Kia owner was denied a warranty claim over a defective TPMS.

Warranty item? - not according to my dealer. Had one that cracked , tire went flat. According to the dealer (13K miles) - warranty doesnt cover this part. $140.00 to replace!!!

Yeah I do not believe that many makes will cover TPMS under warranty. There many factors that are controlled by the owner
