What does it mean when they say sensors are auto relearn?

It means that your car's ecu will automatically find your sensors when they are put on the car. No extra steps required!

a good clarification to add is that the sensors have nothing to do with it. Most chrysler, dodge, jeep, mercedes, bmw, acura and some others manage the ID's from the sensor this way. it isn't truly automatic. Most of these require the vehicle to sit for a period of time (20min) and then drive above a certian MPG for a certian amount of time depending on how many sensors are being replaced.

2 other types of relearns are present. Most asian imports require an OBDII connection with a proper tool to write the ID's to the vehicle, domestics like ford and GM let you put the car into "Relearn Mode" and then you trigger the sensors in a certain order for the vehicle to register them.
