Resetting Toyota TPMS
This thread is to discuss resetting Toyota TPMS.

Process 1
-Inflate all tires to pressure listed on placard.
-Turn ignition to on position (engine off).
-If TPMS light is flashing, hold down tire pressure reset button (found on instrument panel, knee bolster, or inside glove box) until TPMS light flashes 3 times.
-Once TPMS light is off, hold down the reset button until light flashes 3 times.
-Drive vehicle at 19mph+ for at least 1 hour.
-
Process 2
-Inflate all tires to pressure listed on placard.
-Turn ignition to on position (engine off).
-Hold down tire pressure reset button (found on instrument panel, knee bolster, or inside glove box) until TPMS light flashes 3 times.
-Initialization is done when ECU has received signals from all sensors, process make take a few minutes.
-If process is not complete drive vehicle for 20 minutes.
*Scan tool is required to set new sensor serial numbers to vehicle when replacing sensors.
*Vehicle may have main/2nd switch located at base of driver side knee bolster, under glove box or inside glove box. Sensor IDs must be written to position switch is set to.
