The tpms light is on in my Grand Vitara. How do I get rid of it? Do I take it to a tire shop? Do I take it to the dealer?
It depends on why the light is on. If it is solid, there is either too much or too little air in the tires. It will go off once the problem is corrected. If the light is flashing, it means there is a malfunction with the system, meaning that one of the sensors is likely dead. A tire shop should be able to diagnose the problem for you.
