What Is The Shelf Life Of TPMS Sensors?

I have a spare set of sensors that have been lying around in the garage for probably about a year or so now. Are they still good?

Most sensors will go into sleep mode when they are not in use. They should still be good.

OEM sensors are designed to last approx 8-10 years under normal conditions. Temperature / climate can affect this. and sometimes they just die sooner. good idea for tire shop to check them before installing.
