Is The TPMS Change From 315 mhz to all 433 mhz For Land Rover True?

I took this from a Land Rover forum. Just wanted to pass it on just in case this is true.

Land Rover North America is in the midst of switching the communication frequency of its vehicles' Tire Pressure Monitoring System from 315Mhz to 433Mhz, to unify the frequency worldwide. 315Mhz had been used for TPMS here in North America, while systems in other countries they have always communicated on 433 Mhz. Needless to say, the two systems may look the same, but are incompatible.

The change has already started on later build MY2013 LR4s. If you are purchasing a set of sensors for a spare set of wheels and have a fairly recent build MY13, you may want to check the related TSB to find out what type of frequency your vehicle's TPMS was factory fitted with before ordering, especially from aftermarket vendors who may not be aware of this recent change and end up selling you the wrong sensors. That could be an expensive mistake.

It would make sense for Land Rover to switch to 433mhz for all their vehicles. Thanks for sharing!
