BOWIE, Md. (Nov. 4, 2013) — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting pre-orders for its latest TPMS Relearn Chart.

The new TPMS chart includes information on tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) on domestic and import vehicles through model year 2013, TIA said. It is a comprehensive, quick reference guide that tire technicians can navigate easily to service most TPMS-equipped vehicles, according to TIA.

The association divides its TPMS chart into domestic and import vehicle sections, and includes the type of TPMS, relearn summaries, OEM sensor part numbers, and replacement sensor and service pack part numbers. Brand names covered by the chart include Schrader, Dill, Myers Tire Supply, 31 Inc., Xtra-Seal, Continental and NAPA, TIA said.

The 2013 chart includes troubleshooting tips, revised relearn summaries to make them easier to understand, and new pictures and parts numbers for common multi-format sensors. However, the increase/decrease pressure instructions for GM models have been removed.

TIA will feature copies of the new chart Nov. 5-8 at the Global Tire Expo in Las Vegas, and shipping is free for any orders within the U.S. that are made at the Expo, TIA said.

To place a pre-order other than at the Expo, contact Chris Hoogenboom, TIA director of training, at choogenboom@tireindustry.org or 800-876-8372 ext. 108.
