Issue's with aftermarket TPMS on German cars!!

Hello all,

My name is Frank and I have been a tech for MBZ, BMW, and currently work at an independent Porsche service center. I am curious what other shops are seeing with customers coming in with aftermarket TPMS sensors? We have seen a lot more customers trying to use generic-programmable sensors and we have had a huge number of issues. I have seen them not relearn, relearn for the wrong position, and have sporadic data. The owner and I have gotten to the point where we will not service anything but OE or OE aftermarket. Wondering if anyone has seen a product that fits the OE function? I am more and more seeing posts like this:
